Publish to a team
Let the members of a team open your app. Everybody else stays out.
Why use it
You built an app for the Finance team. You want every person in Finance to open it, and you do not want to add each person by hand. When you publish the app to the team, each member can open it, and a new member gets access on the day they join.
Publish your app
- Open the app and go to Sharing.
- Under Published to, select Publish to a team.
- Choose the team.
An approver of your team checks the request. When they say yes, the members can open the app. If you are an approver yourself, it is approved at once.
Share with the whole organisation
Choose the Everyone team. This needs two approvals: one from your team, and one from an administrator.
Stop sharing
- To remove one team, select Unpublish next to it.
- To remove every team, select Make private.
These changes take effect at once and do not need an approval.
